Belgium and The Netherlands have set up a contact and information point for part B of the Treaty. For questions in the relevant field, contact :

In Belgium, the information is as a rule provided in Dutch, but wherever possible, boatmasters who do not speak Dutch can also be helped in English, French or German.

The message is always passed to the government department, port authority or waterway operator concerned.

When formulating a response to an incoming complaint to the contact point, no opinion is proffered, the intention being solely to provide more detailed information about the provisions of the Convention. Insofar as necessary, it is also emphasised therefore that the Antwerp Municipal Port Authority in no way can or will intervene in any judicial procedure.
